Madrid, 26 April 2016.- The excellent participation forecasts are confirmed for UNIBIKE 2016, which is to be held from 22 to 25 September. Five months in advance of opening, the International Bicycle Fair has already confirmed participation from more than 132 companies, representing occupation of over 80% of the available space.

 Following the first meeting for allocating spaces on 12 April, the event registered a 22% increase in the surface area booked as compared to the same time last year, at over 9,500 m2 of exhibition space.

 On this occasion, Portugal will play an important part with its exclusive ´Portugal Hall´ area, which will be host to 8 companies from Spain’s neighbouring country, to add to the 124 already agreed.

 UNIBIKE has once again received unanimous support from the market, strengthening its position as the major event for the bicycle industry. For the 2016 edition the Fair has been extended for a day to open its doors exclusively to professionals on Thursday 22nd, from 15:00, and on Friday for the entire day, and on Saturday and Sunday until 15:00 to the general public. To facilitate access to as many bicycle aficionados as possible, there will be special ticket rates for families and groups throughout the weekend. As for the professionals, they will also have chance to try out the latest market innovations in the three DEMO zones hosted by UNIBIKE this year: Ebikes DEMO Zone,  MTB and RD DEMO Zone, and FATS DEMO Zone .

 UNIBIKE 2016, which is organised by IFEMA and AMBE, and promoted by Last Lap and Expobike Solutions, will be holding its third edition from 22 to 25 September in halls 12 and 14 of Feria de Madrid.
